  • What kind of apartments will they be?
    Lighthouse will feature a total of 333 rental apartments, including 232 two-room apartments, 64 studios, 8 FRIENDS apartments with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 20 two-room apartments, and 9 luxury penthouses on the top three floors of the building.
  • How do I qualify for a property?

  • I signed up. When will I hear something?
    We receive many applications, so not having been allocated an apartment yet does not mean that there are no options left for you. Please keep an eye on your email and be patient.
  • Can you visit the property?
    While it is not possible to physically view the apartments at Lighthouse, we will ensure you get a clear idea of your future home. Soon, we will share detailed photos and a comprehensive 3D tour of the Studio, One-Bedroom, Two-Bedroom, FRIENDS, and Penthouse apartments on our website. This will allow you to take a virtual tour from the comfort of your home and preview the modern and stylish living spaces that Lighthouse has to offer.   • Measures to prevent discrimination in screening.
    Our staff who do the selection and screening are trained based on the housing discrimination campaign 'Point the door to discrimination'. Once a year, employees receive training on housing discrimination. This means no discrimination based on: Religion, Belief, Political beliefs, Race, Gender, Nationality, Sexual orientation, Marital status, Disability or chronic condition.

  • What is the minimum income to rent at Lighthouse?
    The guideline is three times the cold rent of an apartment. For an exact calculation, we recommend filling in the NIBUD-wijzer. If you are applying with a partner/friend then you can add both incomes together.
  • How can I apply for an apartment
    Subscribe to the newsletter at all times. Through this channel, you will be the first to be informed about the start of pre-registration.
  • I don't earn three times the bare rent. Can I still qualify for apartments then?
    Yes, this can be done through a guarantor. See the How to apply page for the required form.
  • My preferences have been rented out to someone else. Do I need to change my registration to have a chance of getting another apartment?
    No, you do not need to change your registration. If similar apartments are still available, there is a chance that this apartment may be allocated to you.
  • How do we select candidates for the apartments?
    Applicants will be selected based on the criteria outlined on the 'How to apply' page and the date of application. Those who apply first and meet the criteria will be prioritized for the apartment.
  • I haven't completed all the documents yet, now what?
    If you do not yet have all your documents ready, it is best to submit your application only once you have everything in order. Completing your application without all the necessary documents will prevent us from approving it.
  • Am I eligible for rent allowance?
    Within Lighthouse, you are not eligible for rent allowance.
  • When will my contract take effect?
    Lighthouse is currently under construction, with an expected completion date in mid-2025. We are diligently working to bring this impressive project to fruition and will keep you informed of its progress through our newsletter.
  • How big are the apartments?
    The rental apartments in Lighthouse range in living area from 46 to 129 m², ensuring there is a suitable option for every lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a compact, efficient studio or a spacious, luxurious penthouse with breathtaking views, Lighthouse offers a diversity of living spaces to suit your needs. Each apartment is designed with an eye for comfort and functionality, so you can fully enjoy your new home in the heart of Strijp-S.
  • What's in the apartment?
    The apartments are move-in ready, featuring high-quality PVC flooring and finished white walls. They also include a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances and a complete bathroom. In short, all you need to do is pack your bags and arrange your own furniture.
  • What's in the kitchen?
    The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge-freezer, ceramic hob & combi oven/microwave and dishwasher.
  • Where is the washing machine connection?
    The connection for the washing machine can be found on the apartment floor plans and is typically located in the apartment's storage room.
  • How is the bathroom finished?
    The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a washbasin with a mirror. In some apartment types, there is also a separate toilet.
  • Is it possible to rent extra storage space?
    No, there is no additional storage space available within Lighthouse.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Pets are allowed if they do not cause a nuisance. Any damage caused by the pet or extra cleaning required at check-out will be charged.
  • Is there bicycle parking?
    Yes, there is a bicycle shed in the building that you can use.
  • Can I rent/buy a parking space?
    It is possible to rent a parking space through Mobility-S. The car park is a few minutes' walk from Lighthouse.
